A regulatory region derived from the ribitol-responsive operon in bacteria. This part is GoldenGate compatible.

The promotor sequence has 5' GGAG and 3' TACT 4nt overhangs that conforms the sequence to the [http://2016.igem.org/Resources/Plant_Synthetic_Biology/PhytoBricks Phytobrick] golden gate standard. The part can be cloned into a higher order level 1 composite clone using BsaI.

The [http://2018.igem.org/Team:Cardiff_Wales Cardiff_Wales] team is working with this regulatory sequence through a collaboration with [http://2018.igem.org/Team:WashU_StLouis Washington University iGEM].
